Here is a description of some of the lessons I can offer your children. I can create others, if they are interested in a certain subject. For instance, if they enjoy basketball; I can adapt my English language lesson to reflect that in the stories, games, vocabulary words and comprehension skills that we cover. The important principle is to keep the student interested and engaged throughout the lesson.
In this lesson, we talk about how violins are made, how they sound and what the difference is between a violin and a fiddle. We read a story about violins and watch a video of a violin player.
In this lesson, we will talk about what you can do in the Winter, places that have a lot of Winter weather and what animals do in the Winter. We will play an alphabet snowman game.
In this lesson, we talk about the x-ray machine, why people get an x-ray and how it helps the Doctor. Then we read a book about x-rays and we make an x-ray using cotton swabs and glue which will be needed for this lesson.
In this lesson, we talk about yellow birds like parrots, canaries and yellow finches. We talk about what they like to eat, where they live and how to look for them. We read a story about birds and draw and colour a bird we create. Paper, and crayons or markers will be needed for this lesson.
In this lesson, we talk about where Zebras live, what they eat and what they sound like. We read a book about Zebras and talk about other animals that are black and white and other animals that have stripes.
